It’s Monday and I was thinking about trying something new on the blog and so I thought why not incorporate something I love and that is a huge part of my life…MUSIC! I’m constantly listening to it whether I’m at home working, cooking, in the shower, getting dressed or driving around. I love discovering new bands, checking out live shows and of course sharing my faves with my friends. So I thought, why not have Music Monday’s right here where I showcase an artist or band and share a tune with you.
To kick things off I picked one of my best buds to feature…Roddy Colmer. I’ve known Roddy for what seems like forever. Roddy is a singer/songwriter and when I first met him he was the lead singer of a rock/reggae band called Rebel Emergency. Rebel Emergency was one of my fave bands to watch live because they would always draw a kick ass crowd and at the end of every show Roddy would crowd surf but legit crowd surf…on a surf board…yup pretty epic!
The past little while Roddy has been working on a new solo album “Afterglow” which includes the singles “Written In Stone” (click on the image below to give it a listen) and “Make It To Forever” featuring Nefe.
