Today’s Tasty Tuesday is dedicated to our ChicMamma Pina in honor of her love for Nutella! It also seemed like the perfect time to share this recipe as we recently received the news of Mr. Ferrero passing away and so, in the name of Nutella and for all the Nutella lovers out there (especially Pina) I am sharing with you all my “Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookie” Recipe.
NUTELLA CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
Recipe by: Denise
Serving: approx 2 dozen
Total time: 25 min
Ingredients:
2 ¼ cup flour
1 ½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ cup butter, melted
¾ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
2 eggs (room temp)
¾ cup Nutella
½ cup semi sweet or milk chocolate chips
1tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
1. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside
2. Melt butter in microwave and set aside to cool down a bit
3. In a small-medium bowl, mix flour, salt and baking soda and set aside
4. In stand mixer ( or hand blender) blend butter and sugars and add one egg at a time until creamed together
5. Add vanilla extract
6. Add flour mix ½ at a time and blend until well combined then add chocolate chips to mix it in
7. With a spatula fold in the Nutella. Don’t over mix in the Nutella you want to gently and lightly fold it in. This will give you a nice swirl of Nutella in each cookie
8. With a table spoon, drop your dough onto cookie sheet (don’t roll it into a ball, just scoop it with your spoon and drop it on your sheet)
9. Bake at 375 for 9-11 minutes. Cookies will still look wet, but don’t worry they are done.
Enjoy!
