Are you frustrated after a long day of work or chasing your kids around? Well get ready to get some of those frustrations out by beating up dinner. That’s right, beat up dinner and have it on the table in less than 30 minutes.
This yummy and tender pork will have your kids asking for more. This recipe goes perfect with a simple cream mushroom sauce on top or even just a squeeze of lemon.
I can not wait to see the recipes for the yummy dishes that will be served in The Mutts Kitchen this week.
PORK SCHNITZEL
Ingredients:
4 center loin pork chops
1 egg
3/4 cup flour
1 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
1. Wrap each pork chop loosely in saran wrap. Using a mallet, hammer the chops to thin them to about 1/2 inch.
2. In one plate, add flour along with salt and pepper, if desired. In another plate, add the bread crumbs. In a bowl, whisk the egg.
3. In a frying pan, heat the oil on medium low.
4. Coat the pork chops in flour, then egg and lastly the bread crumbs. Place in the pan for about 3 minutes each side.
5. Place the finished pork chops on a plate lined with paper towel.
