We are just a few days away from a fantastic event and of course I’m talking about the 6th Annual Jennie & Carol’s Haircut for Cancer! So please come and join us on Saturday, September 21st as they cut hair for a great cause!
You can make a difference in the life of a child battling cancer and put a smile on their face! All ponytails will be donated to the Wigs for Kids program by Continental Hair, which is affiliated with the Canadian Cancer Society (http://www.cancer.ca). With this program, the donated ponytails are created into wings free of charge for children with cancer. Just like blood, hair regenerates and although this is a small sacrifice to us to these children it means the world!
Wanna help out and donate your hair? Well here are the requirements for the ponytails…
~ 10 inches (8 to 9 inches will be accepted, but 10 inches is best to work with)
~ Permanent hair colour is now accepted (vegetable dyes, semi-permanet dyes and rinses also accepted)
~ Hair is freshly washed and dried and no products added
~ Wavy or curly hair may be straightened to measure
So mark your calendars because it all goes down this Saturday (September 21st) at The Brampton Skin Care Academy Inc., 350 Rutherford Road South, Plaza 1, Unit 6 in Brampton. The Academy will donate their time, services and location from 11:00am to 4:00pm to cut and style the donors’ hair. They will also have snacks, beverages and children’s activities.
