NOW is the time to STOP!

You’ve heard it all before…Mommy Wars, Mommy Shaming, Mommy Bullying…it’s out there, it’s real and it’s pretty disgusting! It makes me ask myself, what has this world come to? We are women, we are Mammas, we should be standing by one another, helping and supporting each other and yes, while there are some Mammas who do just that, there is also a large group who don’t. They stop, stare, whisper not so nice comments under their breath, shame fellow Mammas publicly on social media and pass judgement without knowing a person or their story. I will be the first to admit that I myself, was once guilty of passing judgement on others; as the majority of people out there have and continue to do. Since becoming a Mamma, my view on life, how I want to live it and what kind of example I want to set for my children, has changed me. I no longer am the person I once was.

Recently, I came across this great online video called “The #EndMommyWars Film – The judgement stops here” and it couldn’t be more bang on. Watch it and see for yourself…

NOW is the time to STOP all this nonsense and stand united for who we are…MAMMAS! We are all on the same team, are we not? We all want the best for our children and to set good examples for them, right? Well, tell me how can we do that if instead of focusing on our children, we spend our time judging the lives of others? I’ve said it once and I will say it again and again and again…focus on your own life, your children and your family because how others choose to live their lives has zero impact on yours, so why bother worrying about what they are doing? I’m not saying not to care about others. What I am saying is to stop judging because they might do things differently from you. Remember; what works for one might now work for another and who are we to tell people what’s right and wrong? Am I right?!
