Melissa from The Mutts Kitchen here. I have been MIA the last few months. Why you ask. I added a junior chef to The Mutts Kitchen. I had a beautiful daughter 3 months ago and like a lot of chic mamma’s I struggled with milk supply issues. I searched high and low for ways to help boost my supply and came up with this recipe.
It has been said if you eat oatmeal every morning it will help boost your supply. I needed something that was quick and able to switch up. You can choose what flavour you would like by switching up the fruit you add. My fave fruits to add are raspberries, blueberries or blackberries.

NURSING MAMA OVERNIGHT OATS
Ingredients:
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup almond milk, vanilla unsweetened
1 tbsp milled flax seed
1 packet sweetener or 1 tbsp honey
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 banana, mashed
1/2 cup fresh fruit
Directions:
1. Place the oats, flax seed, sweetener, and cinnamon in a Tupperware. Mix well.
2. Add milk and mix.
3. Add mashed banana and mix well.
4. Lastly add your desired fruit and mix.
5. Place in the refrigerator overnight and enjoy cold or warm in the morning.
