Today Melissa from The Mutts Kitchen is serving up a delicious breakfast for the kids.

My son is very picky when it comes to eggs. I tried boiled, poached, fried, scrambled, you name it, and I tried it. He would take one bite and throw it out. I came up with this recipe to include some of his favourite things and now this is all he asks for. I don’t mind whipping it up as it is done so quickly. You could even try and sneak a veggie in the scramble too.

This week in The Mutts Kitchen we will be focusing on salads, salads and more salads. From kale salad to salad in a jar, we have lots of yummy recipes to be served in The Mutts Kitchen this week to keep you covered.

Quick & Easy Kid Approved Scrambled Eggs

Ingredients:

4 breakfast sausage links, chopped
4 tbsp milk
2 eggs
2 tbsp cheese, shredded

Directions:

1. Using a frying pan on medium heat, cook the sausage until brown and no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
2. Place the eggs in a bowl and whisk with a fork. Add the milk and whisk, until combined.
3. Pour the eggs over the sausage. Wait about 1 minute for the egg to start to cook and then mix together. Add the cheese, mix, and serve.

Enjoy,
From our kitchen to yours.
