The Chic Mammas are geared up and back for the 2nd Annual CIBC Run for the Cure (Woodbridge/Vaughan) and we couldn’t be more excited! Not only are we a local sponsor for the second year in a row but our team is back and we’re ready to ROCK 😉 .
Unfortunately the big “C” is something that affects us all (like it or not). No matter what corner you turn these days you know someone who has fought or is fighting the battle against it. Did you know that breast cancer will affect 1 in 9 Canadian women in their lifetime? Last year (2013) it was estimated that 23,800 Canadian women and 200 Canadian men would be diagnosed with breast cancer. It is a sad reality and we need to do whatever we can create a future free of breast cancer, our children deserve it…don’t they?
On Sunday, October 5th we’ll be at the Kortright Centre in Woodbridge/Vaughan running for a cure and we hope that you’ll show your support and join our team or donate to this fantastic cause.
