Let’s be honest, not many of us can rock sky high heels and skin tight crop-top outfits like Kim K. Especially after having a baby. Although, sometimes I do fantasize about it; that’s just not my reality.
Good thing about fashion it does not discriminate! Plus size fashion is on the up and up and has come a long way from Grandma prints and over sized shirts.
With the average size woman a size 14, curvy is the new black. Even such big names as Marc Jacobs are jumping on the curvy girl bandwagon and is in talks to create a plus size line for the average girl.
Luckily we dont have to wait for Marc to put it to the runways because we have some great stores here in Canada that carry very chic and affordable plus size clothes.
Forever 21 offers the most current fashions from sizes ranging from xl (11/12) to 3xl (17/18) and affordable pricing even a Mat leave salary can handle.
This spring, it’s all about mixing up your wardrobes with lots of colour, crazy prints and don’t be afraid to mix them. Wear them over your cropped, ripped boyfriend jean or rock a floral jumper with your most adorable flats (of course to chase your little ones).
