Hello fashion world, My name is Jennifer, I’m 34 years old, a Mom of 2 amazing kids and wife to an equally great man named George.
Ever since I was little I’ve always had a passion for fashion. I would rip, shred and cut up my clothes to be unique. (My poor mom). It was like I wanted to stand out, but not in that attention-seeking way. When everyone was sporting those black bomber jackets in the early 90’s, I made sure to wear the opposite, a down-to-my knees parka.
I was also fortunate enough to spend many summers in Italy with my grandparents and quickly learned how fashion forward that continent was. (NB- I’ve been wearing my harem pants since 2000…lol).
Speaking of the year 2000….I spent 10 weeks traveling all over Italy with my BFF. Best trip of my life. We made a not-so-wise agreement to skip fancy, elaborate meals and shop our brains out. Spend all our college money on fun, chic and different outfits to bring back to TO. And boy did we ever and to our shock, Canada Customs saw us coming. $700 later in over-weight luggage charges and duty…we had lots to rock out and pay off.
One thing I must make clear that although I love fashion, I am also a very frugal person. It pains me to spend a lot of money on trendy stuff, when I can shop on a budget and buy more!! Right?
