Some women LOVE being pregnant and if they could, they would be pregnant 24/7. Then you have women like me who swell up, don’t feel good, lose sleep from day one, and let’s just say don’t do prego mode well!. Being a blogger and facebook group admin/moderator, I don’t have to get up and get dressed for work in the morning like many others do because what I do, I do from home. And because of it, this time around I’ve been living in tank tops, hoodies, yoga pants or leggings…nothing wrong with a sporty look, after all it’s comfy but can also look frumpy…and we all know that frumpy is the enemy when it comes to feeling good! I really didn’t think that this look was a horrible one until I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror…woah! It wasn’t pretty to say the least haha!! This was my cue to hop in the car and drive over to Luna Maternity & Nursing (something I wish I would have done sooner!). For those of you that have never visited Luna Maternity, it’s definitely worth checking out! They carry the most fashionable, versatile, and comfortable clothing for pregnant and nursing women and the best part is that it’s affordable!
While I was there I got talking to the owner Natalie and she noticed my wardrobe (ALL BLACK of course) and threw something out there. She said; “Pina I have an idea”, and if you know me I’m pretty much up for anything so I was like: “Sure! What is it?” And that was when she said; “How about I give you a wardrobe challenge? For one week, you can not wear all black from head to toe.” At this point, I was like “ummmm who cut off my air supply?” haha cuz black is ALL I wear! And she told me to toss aside that frump look that makes me feel blah and instead dress it up a bit, have fun and celebrate the bump. I thought about it for a second and was like “sure why not”.
So here I am ready to say good bye to my old look and venture out and try something new. I’ve gone ahead and posted a pic of myself which I must say I am not proud of but here it is and then every day starting next week I will post different looks from my new challenge. Can I do it? Will I like it? I don’t know…stay tuned to find out!

Pina – Good for you, you can do it – although what your wearing isn’t so bad, my gut says you will love adding colour to your life especially when the sun is out!!! 🙂
