An article just came out yesterday from CNET in regards to the free photo sharing program and social network Instagram. This past year the company was sold to Facebook and as of yesterday Instagram updated its Terms of Service to allow Instagram the right to sell users’ photos to third parties without notification or compensation after January 16, 2013.
How can you get around this? Well the one and only option is to delete your account before January 16, 2013 otherwise there is no way to opt out.
As a parent that probably uses this program and upload pictures of your children on it how do you feel about it?
