People always say “cherish every moment because it goes by so quickly” and although you hear it a million times you never fully understand it until you have children of your own. Before you have kids time seems to go at a pretty steady pace but that all changes and faster than you can imagine.
3 amazing years have come and gone Samantha and all in a blink of an eye! It seems like it was just yesterday I was sharing my good news with everyone and made the announcement on live radio.
You turned 3 today and I can’t believe it! Wasn’t it yesterday that I was just swaddling you up like a little burrito or that you said your first words or took your first steps? Time flies and I’m glad I’ve been paying attention because I would hate to have missed a single moment of your amazing life. Each and every day I wake up with a smile on my face and am proud to call you my daughter.
I love you so much Samantha you are my munchkin, my princess, my BFF, my Sammy Baby and the most amazing gift that I could have ever asked for! May this birthday be better than the ones that have passed and not nearly as amazing as the ones to come. Wishing you all the very best for today and always…I love you, I love you, I love you! Oh and Mamma if you see me coming towards you with tears in my eyes and my arms open wide, don’t pull away just let me hug you and hold you for as long as I need, it just my way of freezing time 🙂 .
